Raw Food Weight Loss Challenge – Day 08 – First Weigh In
Ok, I did it.. I got my fat bits exposed in a bikini again and put in a video for alllll to see *lol*
Hmmmm so what was my before and after weight again? And what do I measure in at?
My measurements are:
Chest: 39″ / 99cm (no change from Week 1)
Waist: 31″ / 79cm (down 1″ / 2cm)
Fattest bit (hips/belly): 38″ / 96.5cm (down 1″ / 2.5cm)
Left thigh: 21.5″ / 55cm (no change from Week 1)
Left Arm: 11″ / 28cm (down .5″ / 1cm)
To recap from the video – this week I weighed in at 9 stone 12lb / 138 lbs / 62.6 kilos and my body fat percentage was STILL 32%
So I’ve released 3lbs / 1.4 kilos
ARRRGHHHH!!! Not good enough and it’s all because of my constant self sabotage so I’m going to do something drastic, something that I have done before with great success – I’m going to do Jason Vale’s, (aka The Juicemaster) 7lbs in 7 days Super Juice Diet!
I’m interested in this as it will really give me the kick up the arse that I want to experience and get me in the groove. I WANT THIS TO WORK! I’m fricking determined in fact… so I need to stop typing this and make a juice then get my bum to the greengrocers to buy what I need…

Well Done, 1 Kilo a week is a healthy amount to lose. I reckon you should keep on the same way you have been going this week and build on the progress you have already made.
You have made it clear that you have made leaps and bounds already in being able to stop yourself from binging on comfort foods & have are able to “step away from the carton”. I reckon this is the best behavioral change you need to re-enforce to enable a long term change.
Yes, a juice diet will provide you with faster results (because it’s a fast) but it’s not sustainable. By restricting your diet away from your ideal norm you will get short term gains which may be unsustainable.
From what I understand you are seeking to eat cleaner and healthier. You are elready exercising more & are keenly aware of the empty toxic foods which are offsetting the good & nutritious foods in your diet. I say persevere with the raw food and exercise path for now. Feed your body with real healthy food and minimise the less nutritious to the absolute essentials
As you exercise you will be building muscle & for that you will need protein, not enough protein & you’ll be depleted and it’ll all be that much harder. Eat well & enjoy everything you do eat is my motto. Relish it, even if it’s akin in texture to the frog spawn like chia seeds I have been eating of late.
enough from me….
Lots of love
