Raw Diet – Day 22 – Week 3 Weigh In

Yessss I’m so naughty – have not blogged properly since Day 15 – oops! But I have NOT given up altogether as I’m back muhahahah.

I ran a lot last week up til Friday then umm decided I wanted to drink some wine on Friday night and eat rubbish (had a delicious thin crust tomato and mozzarella pizza and some 70% chocolate)… I decided I wasn’t going to run at the weekend so lazed around and went to Nicola’s on Saturday late afternoon, for a very fun evening of chat, Britain’s Got Talent, copious amounts of wine and loads of food that Nicola started to prepare and Steve finished off … it was mmmmmmmmmm… and ummm, yes, I was very drunk – much to the amusement of friends of mine when I logged in really late to see what was up on Second Life and couldn’t type straight for the life of me.

Thankfully I was ok when I woke up at about 10am but omg, I sleep SO badly if I’m drunk… I limped
through Sunday by lying on my sofa and being pathetic, can’t remember what I ate – probably empty carbs to try and give me a quick fix – I remember thinking about writing on here and decided not to. I really must do it though as I want this online journal to be a habit and, after all, I do enjoy doing it regardless of whether anyone else is reading it!

So Monday arrived and my kids had an inset day so were STILL not back to school.. I managed to get my arse into gear tho and get into some running stuff and fling myself outside the front door… only to reach the end of my road and suddenly get a very odd sharp pain on the inside of my left knee cap grrrrr… I stopped and rubbed it, hoping it may magically fix it and I can stop looking like a wimp and get on with running like I’m a dead healthy person (especially as there was a fricking coach load of teen foreign students staring at me in my old fuschia pink tshirt covered in paint stains).. Unfortunately, I must have done something when I stepped off the curb or up it, as this pain did not want to go away when i started walking on it, so I had to pathetically limp round the block and go straight back home.

I’m not sure what’s up but I managed to run for 22 mins yesterday but I did get a twinge a few times during it and then it hurt on occasion through the day afterwards too, so I decided to rest it again today and run tomorrow as I will be WELL pee’d off if I bugger it up.

During the past few days I have been doing a lot of reading, as I said in the video, which has been very productive as the books have been about healthy eating, dieting, positive thinking and such like. In fact yesterday and so far today with some of the simple changes I have already made – meditation, telling myself it’s safe to be slim, sitting in the gorgeous sunshine – I am feeling great again and feel back on track.

I also feel more relaxed about food – so I’m not thinking of myself as being ‘good’ or ‘bad’ so much. Even one of my avocado’s finally ripened! So I’m going to concentrate on eating MORE raw food and having one juice a day but not feeling guilty at eating other foods too. I’ll update this post at the end of the day to share what I’ve had. But first, here’s my measurements:

Chest: 38.5″ / 98cm (no change from last week)

Waist: 31″ / 79cm (no change from last week)

Fattest bit (hips/belly): 38″ / 96.5cm (no change from last week)

Left thigh: 21.5″ / 55cm (no change from last week)

Left Arm: 11″ / 28cm (no change from last week)

To recap from the video – this week I weighed in at 9 stone 12lb / 138 lbs / 62.6 kilos (OMG I JUST REALISED I WENT DOWN 1lb WOO FKG HOOOOOO!!!!) no idea on body fat % as the batteries died on my scales.

* cup of hot water with a lime wedge

* tup of natural cottage cheese mmmmm LOVE this stuff

* juice made out of: 2 braeburn apples, 1 stick celery, mixed salad leaves then blended with half avocado, spirulina, bio acidophilus, wheatgrass powder

* some raw cashew nuts

* ciabatta bread, coleslaw, olives, hoummous, cherry tomatoes, avocado
